Crofts Jewellery Valuations is a Melbourne based Jewellery valuation service.  We have been in operation for over 30 years, providing assessments on all types of jewellery for retail clients and trade jewellers.

All jewellery is graded onsite with our staff, consisting of two highly skilled, experienced and NCJV  (National Council of Jeweller Valuers) registered valuers, five qualified Diamond graders and three qualified bench jewellers.  We are also the only valuers in Australia with a dedicated Diamond grading laboratory on site, giving our valuers access to equipment and tools above all the rest.

Valuation of jewellery, is in our opinion is a Technical Art, not a Science, even though many scientifically designed instruments are used in order to produce accurate identifications and gradings, but there is always an element of beauty, rarity, fine craftsmanship, age and fashion trends to be taken into account.
